Hello

I'm Mitch Rauk, and for more than 25 years I’ve helped organizations turn strategy into action through thoughtful planning, strong leadership, and world-class program and project management. I’ve had the privilege of delivering complex information technology initiatives across Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations, always with a focus on creating clarity, strengthening collaboration, and driving meaningful results. My passion is helping teams navigate complexity, align around a shared vision, and execute with confidence. Whether leading local or global initiatives, I’m committed to adding value by guiding people, simplifying challenges, and ensuring outcomes that make a lasting impact.
My Story
I grew up in a small farming town of just 200 people in southwest Minnesota—a place where everyone knew each other, hard work was expected, and community meant everything. Those early years shaped my values and taught me the importance of integrity, accountability, and following through on your commitments.

I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Minnesota, studying Chemical, Mechanical, and Paper Science Engineering. After graduation, I spent the next eight years working in paper manufacturing across the Deep South—Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana—where I learned firsthand how large industrial operations function, how teams collaborate under pressure, and how strong leadership drives results.

Then came the rise of the dot-com era. Despite having a successful career, I felt a pull toward the fast-growing world of technology. So I did something unexpected: I walked away and started over.

That decision led me to the National Marrow Donor Program, where I applied my engineering mindset to software development. I designed and led a team to build an application that matches bone marrow donors with cancer patients—a deeply meaningful project that reminded me how technology, when used well, can change lives.

After this transformational experience, I joined CDW, where I expanded my focus into information technology infrastructure and strategic program leadership. This role gave me the opportunity to work with some of the nation’s most prominent financial institutions, global manufacturing and chemical organizations, and one of the world’s largest medical device innovators. These engagements allowed me to operate across continents, cultures, and complex enterprise environments, delivering strategic initiatives and large-scale technology programs with global impact.

Over the years, I’ve learned that every project—no matter the size—comes down to people, purpose, and clear strategic direction. My journey from a small farming community to leading global technology initiatives has shaped who I am and how I lead today.

Rock10Tech is the culmination of that journey. It reflects my passion for empowering teams, simplifying complexity, and helping organizations turn strategy into meaningful action.
